Before there was a hero, there was Crewman #6 — a background actor with four seconds of screen time and a name nobody bothered to write down. Then the Thermians arrived, the ships turned out to be real, and suddenly the guy with no lines was standing on the bridge of the NSEA Protector in a red shirt.
